Can I enter alone?

Of course! You can sign up as an individual on our online booking system.
Some obstacles may require assistance but our marshals and other runners will no doubt give you a hand!

Question 2

There is more than one of us - do we have to enter as a team?

Accepted Answer

No - but it will help make sure you all start in the same wave time!

If you don't want to sign up as a team you can enter as individuals and just make sure your wave times are the same.

Question 3

Can I start a team if I haven't confirmed all the team members yet?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you create a team you can reserve places at a start wave time for the rest of your team. These places will be reserved for 10 days for your teammates to sign up. After those 10 days the reserved spots will be released back to the public - your teammates will still be able to sign up as long as there are spaces left in the wave.

Question 4

My team is full but I'd like to add more team members - is this possible?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you are the Team Captain, you can edit the number of people in your team through your Team Captain dashboard.

Question 5

Can I edit my booking details?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are able to change your booking details when you log into our booking system.

We do have a cut off booking date for t-shirts, due to our printing deadlines. We inform all participants of this deadline date in advance and anyone booking their place after this date may not receive a t-shirt.

Can I run for charity?

Accepted Answer

We don't offer charity sponsoring opportunities however you are welcome to run for your charity of choice.

We are looking a Partnering with a couple of charities that will allow you discount entry for raising over a certain amount...

Question 7

I'm under 18 - can I run the Dorset Mud Run?

Accepted Answer

To complete the Dorset Mud Run course you must be between 16 - 65 (if you are older than this please contact us as it may be possible for your to run if you provide us with a doctor's note). Unfortunately we do not accept under 16's. These rules are due to insurance limitations.

Any participants ages 16 and 17 need an adult to accompany them on site (they can be waiting in the spectator area if not running).

Do you offer refunds, swaps or transfers?

Accepted Answer

Like most races in the UK, we use the entry fees to put on the event. Because of this, we regret that once entry applications have been processed, we cannot refund any entry fees to runners who do not eventually take part or wish to pull out prior to the event.

If you are unexpectedly unable to run but know someone who can take your place then you can log in to your profile on our online booking system and send a link to the new participant to transfer your place. You MUST ONLY TRANSFER YOUR PLACE USING THIS LINK as the new participant needs to fill in the sign up form themselves, otherwise their place will be voided and the new participant will not be allowed to run on the day. Transfers are only be available up until ticket sales close.

We do not offer transfers to any future Dorset Mud Run events.
